Prayer for Strength and Comfort

Prayer for Strength and Comfort: Are you discouraged or disappointed? Does it seem like your world is crashing down right in front of you? Is someone dear to you in any form of trouble? Does it look like God has not been true to His promises? Have you or someone you know incurred any major loss lately? Are you sad and devastated by a situation? Then, this prayer is for you. I want you to know that God Cares.

The Lord will give you Strength: There are stages in the journey of life where it seems like all hopes are lost and all roads are closed. Know that God is interested.

The Lord will Comfort you: A devastated mind can hardly focus let alone make the right decisions to salvage his situation. But with comfort, that imbalance can be averted. Fortunately, God gives the best of all comfort.

PRAYER FOR STRENGTH AND COMFORT

Thanksgiving: Father, I bless Your holy name for being available for every need. Thank You that I can be assured of a positive response every time I come to You.

Strength: Lord, I may have incurred losses of all kinds in my life, but I trust You to strengthen me. I may have given up on my life and on those around me. I may have been despised by my own kin and friends. I may have been ostracized by a society that is supposed to help me hone my energies. But I look unto Thee for strength, supply in abundance in Jesus’ name. I do not want to quench by the wayside in the journey of life. See me through in Jesus’ name.

Comfort: God of all comfort, comfort my heart in all my pains in Jesus’ name. In Your mercy, see me through every dark time in Jesus’ name. Let me not be wearied of waiting for You till my answers come and keep far from me those whose words and actions are no comfort in Jesus’ name.

Rest: Jesus, take the wheels, I can’t do it on my own again. I roll all my cares and burden unto you. Holyspirit, take control, help me rest in your love, hold me close oh lord and wipe my tears. In Jesus’ name and peace.
