Prayer for Unjust Situations

Prayer for Unjust Situations–Are you being treated like
you’re less than a human? Is the society you live in
disregarding the needs of the weak to favor the strong? Does
the injustice you see around you make you uncomfortable?
Then this prayer is for you.
Injustice is:
1. Absence of justice;
2. Violation of the rights of another person; and
3. Unfairness; the state of not being fair or just.
The world is run by a secular system. A large percentage of
this system runs contrary to biblical injunctions, one of which
is justice. King David said:
“The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He
that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God” (2
Samuel 23:3).
Proverbs 29:27 says,
“An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is
upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.”
Unfortunately, the world is in the hands of the wicked ones:
“The earth is given into the hand of the wicked…” (Job 9:24).
The weak and the poor are often the victims of injustice, and it
takes place everywhere and everyday. The Kingdom of Israel
was sent on exile because of this.
“Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Israel, and
for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because
they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of
shoes” (Amos 2:6).

History is littered with rulers and people who dealt unjustly
against the weak. And God would have you and me pray and
speak against it as much as we can.

PRAYER FOR UNJUST SITUATIONS

Father, thank You for the justice system upon which Your
kingdom is established.
“Justice and judgment are the habitation of Thy throne: mercy
and truth shall go before Thy face” (Psalm 89:14).
And thank You for having opened the way towards the
establishment of that kingdom on earth.
“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in
heaven” (Matthew 6:10).
Father, the world is in chaos. There is injustice against Your
cause, Your people and the poor. Arise and deliver the
oppressed in Jesus name. Let the injustices be swallowed up
in Jesus name. Raise a government and a people whose
vision and activities incorporate justice in every detail in Jesus
name.
Lord, for the sake of the weak who cannot fight for
themselves, bring upon the unjust their own evil enterprises in
Jesus name.
Thank You for answered prayers. In Jesus name I pray.
