Prayer for Mothers Day: Mothers day is coming! Mother’s day is a special day for mothers all around the world. It is a special day to celebrate motherhood, and everything mothers do for their children. A Mother’s Day Prayer is a wonderful way to pronounce blessings on your mother, grandmother, daughter, or another female relative who has influenced you in your life.

The Roles of Mothers

A mother is an individual with a special place in the heart of every child. Every child is blessed with a mother, who always cares and looks after him/her. A mother is the first teacher for a child and she plays a vital role in shaping his/her future.

She is the one who provides all the things needed by her child. She works hard to fulfill all their wishes and desires in order to make them happy. Mothers are always ready to sacrifice their lives for their children and they do so without thinking twice.

1. She gives life to a child;
2. She nurtures a child;
3. She educates a child;
4. She motivates a child;
5. She protects a child;
6. She counsels a child;
7. She prays for a child; etc.

Mothers’ Day celebration is only one of many honors that they deserve.

Prayer for Mother’s Day

Thanksgiving: Father, I thank you for the womb that carried me. Thank you for the hands that nursed and raised me. Thank you for giving me such a wonderful mother. It is wonderful to be part of her life and to see all the great things you are doing for her.

Mercy for Mothers: Have mercy on our mothers in Jesus name. Let not their failures destroy the rewards of their successes in Jesus name.

“For He saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have
compassion” (Romans 9:15).

Strength: Vitality for Mothers: Our mothers gave a lot to care for us. Give them more strength in Jesus name. Vitalize
their minds and bodies to be continually refreshed in Jesus name. Let every threat to their wellness be crushed by the
blood of the Lamb.

“Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth” (Jeremiah 33:6).

Long Life for Mothers: Father, give our mothers life long enough to make them see generations of their children, that
would be a gladness to their soul in Jesus name.

“After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations” (Job 42:16).

Peace at Home: Father, give our mothers peace at the home front in Jesus name. Let their families be what they dreamed them to be in Jesus name. If they are riffed with any crisis, settle it for them in Jesus name.

“In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth” (Psalm 72:7).

Joy Over Children: Lord, let every mother in the world have abundant joy over their children in Jesus name. Let them have no cause to grieve over any of their children in Jesus name.

“And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children” (Isaiah 54:13).
