Father, I thank you for the womb that carried me. Thank you for the hands that nursed and raised me. Thank you for giving me such a wonderful mother. It is wonderful to be part of her life and to see all the great things you are doing for her. I am so glad that God blessed me with such a caring and loving mother. I thank you, Lord, that she is alive today. Thank you for giving her the inner strength that in all of her adversities, even when things got tough, she was/is still able to stand by me every step of the way.

Lord, I lift all mothers affected by a major illness in your hand; I pray, Lord, that you stretch forth your healing hands on them, relieve their pain, and heal them. Instead, help me celebrate her legacy. Dear Lord, remind me constantly that she is in a better place, and we will meet again. John 16:22 “So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.
