Prayer for God’s Will

Prayer for God’s Will: Are you at a crossroad of confusion
over what decisions to make? Do you feel confused about a
dilemma you're already plunged into?

On another note, are you passionate to know the mind of God
for your life? Are you interested in identifying God's choice of
a marriage partner, business partner, or other areas of your
life? This prayer is for you.

What God's Will Is: The will of God is His intention and
design over a matter or person. Whenever there is conflict
between our desire and His, life gets tougher for us than
necessary, so we will have to bend ours to His own. The Lord
Jesus Christ was in straits within Himself as He prepared for
the cross because His flesh was warring against His Spirit.
Matthew 26:38,41-42 says,

“Then saith He unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful,
even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with Me…Watch
and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is
willing, but the flesh is weak. He went away again the second
time, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if this cup may not
pass away from Me, except I drink it, Thy will be done.”

What the Will of God Will Give You: Even Jesus did not just
pay the ultimate price ordinarily but also because He looked at
the reward He stood to gain afterwards.

“Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; who
for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the
throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2).

Surrendering to the will of God, and paying attention to know
and follow His will are not too easy to do as they may sound.
But it worth commendating.

Prayer for God’s Will

Thanksgiving: Lord Jesus, thank You for giving up Your own
will for the Father’s will because of me. Thank You for the
example of selflessness You have set us to follow.
Prayer for Revelation of God’s Will: Father, I cannot do
Your will if I don’t know Your will. Please, show me what it is
You want for every detail of my life.
“I am a stranger in the earth: hide not Thy commandments
from me” (Psalm 119:19).
“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that
doeth the will of God abideth for ever” (1 John 2:17).
Let me know Your will for my relationships, career, daily
activities, and every decision for my life and loved ones.
“For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to
silence the ignorance of foolish men” (1 Peter 2:15).
Grace to Do the Will of God: Father, after showing me Your
will, help me to do it. Help me to be able to surrender my will
to Yours in my body, soul, spirit, appetites, opinions, plans,
and all areas of life in Jesus name. Do not let me ever
succeed in conquering Your will with mine in Jesus name.
Help the renewal of my mind so it can surrender willingly to
You in Jesus name.
The Will of God Over My Affairs: Lord, You know my
dilemmas. Let Your will be done in Jesus name. Even when I

am reluctant to know or do Your will, let Your will be done over
my health, security, relationships, career, and spiritual life in
Jesus name.
Appreciation: Thank You for answered prayers. In Jesus
name I have prayed. Amen!
