Mark 11:24, prayer for healing a friend

Encouraging words for cancer patients

When you are diagnosed with cancer, you may feel scared and confused. This is a trying time for you, but we are here to help. You don’t have to go through this alone. You are loved and prayed for everyday by many people all over the world. Together we can fight, survive, worship, and pray through cancer.

Life may never be the same after receiving this awful diagnosis. But even so, there’s still hope! You are a child of God, and He has plans for your future.

I encourage you to live each day boldly, in the direction of your purpose, ignore negative opinions, seek out friendships with those who support you, and most importantly, take time to seek a deeper relationship with God. This, too, shall pass!

You Are More Than A Cancer Patient – You Are A Cancer SURVIVOR!

Cancer is a very strong word that is associated with a lot of fear in our lives. There is a great deal of anxiety and emotions connected to the experiences. People who have gone through this describe the experience as a rollercoaster with ups and downs, twists and turns.

It can be overwhelming to find the strength to fight the disease. When you start to feel helpless and hopeless, I want you to remind yourself that it won’t last forever. You are stronger through Christ. ”No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us – Romans 8:37

Struggling with faith

It can be challenging to navigate the intersecting worlds of faith and cancer to help people find peace, hope, spiritual guidance, and understanding.

When fighting cancer, emotions run from fear to anger, questions race through your mind, and exhaustion sets in as you begin to battle with the disease. It is easy at this point to struggle with your faith, and sometimes, getting angry with God may seem appropriate, but this is indeed the time you need God the most. He will help you build your faith strong enough to handle anything. He wants you to lay down all your burdens at his feet.

Getting close to God will help you understand God’s view of this disease and what response he might expect from you.

Remember, God is there with you; you only need to listen for his voice – Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow death, thou art with me. Psalm 23:4

The power of prayers

There’s no arguing on the power of prayer, not just in that it helps throughout the challenges of cancer diagnosis and treatment, but it also helps to deepen our faith in God.

Prayer during cancer can be an important source of peace, comfort, and inspiration to a patient.

Praying for a loved one with cancer can bring comfort and healing to both the praying and the prayed for. Praying can help ease this pain by giving you hope that everything will be okay and that there is somebody watching over you who cares deeply about what you are going through.

The battle with cancer is tough, but the Lord provides strength and help when we call upon him. The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. Psalm 145:8

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Matthew 11:28-29

Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

John 14:1-4

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
